Jersey is a small island in the Channel Isles, just 14 miles from the North West coast of France and 85 miles from the South coast of England. Our oysters are regularly shipped to England and France and we are happy to discuss deliveries to these locations and others, both locally and internationally.
Several factors make this location ideal for oyster farming which is why Seymour Oyster is one of the largest exporters from the island. Grouville bay on the East coast of Jersey has a relatively flat terrain with the fourth largest tidal range in the world, which ensures a regular and fresh supply of food for the oysters. This location also has good water quality and excellent transportation links within Jersey and internationally.
